Kat Morai and her Portuguese Water Dog, Koa, have had enough of Legacy Lake’s winter and head to a beach house on Florida’s Treasure Coast. After a ghostly shipwreck survivor enlists Kat’s help in finding the wing of her priceless antique gold bird and solving the mystery of her sea captain’s death – someone sends Kat death threats. Can Kat solve the mystery of the missing wing and what really happened to the old Spanish sea captain? Meet her new driveway party detective team – a contentious and quirky group of neighborhood treasure hunters, a local rock band affectionately called “Stones Clones” and a supply of rum and Riesling. Oh yeah – and Koa who comes to the rescue more than once as Kat finds herself in never ending danger on land and sea.
